Thy Kingdom Come Pray for 5

A big part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture – from tomorrow until Pentecost on June 9th – is to pray for 5 people – family and friends and neighbours and colleagues – to meet with Jesus.

You are invited to join this wave of prayer happening all over the world.
You are invited to make a list of up to 5 people.
You are invited to pray each morning for them.

Almighty God,
your ascended Son has sent us into the world
to preach the good news of your kingdom:
inspire us with your Spirit
and fill our hearts with the fire of your love,
that all who hear your Word
may be drawn to you,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen we pray together.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God

Reading : 2 KINGS 9 verses 1-13

Meditation : take time to consider what these verses teach us
about God’s relationship with His people in Israel
What are you challenged and encouraged by this morning?

Then take the time to Pray to this God, our God who reigns over all

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Church in Wales
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers this day.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from 2 Kings 9
Reflect on the words and images and people …. And then pray to the LORD our God
Hear our evening prayers, O God, as this day ends.
We believe and trust in You and lay ourselves before You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflect on the words and events…and those involved…. and then Pray….to the LORD our God
God of grace and God of judgment
We bring our evening worship to you
As we lay ourselves and our families and our world before you

Tuesday UPPER ROOM Thy Kingdom Come

During the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture (30th May-9th June) you are invited to discover new habits and ways of praying to God, that those whom you know might come to know Jesus for themselves.

We are invited to ask..seek..knock…that the Kingdom of God is experienced and evidenced anew in our day
in our lives
in our family
in our church and community
in our land
in our world

You are therefore invited to visit the UPPER ROOM this Tuesday and make this your prayer

The Room is open 7.30am-7pm this week

There is space
for time out with God

There are opportunities to pause and pray with others
7.30-8am
12noon-12.30pm

And we gather in the Kirk in the evening 7.30-8.45pm
to ask..seek..knock..together as a Church Family.
You are invited to join us as we step into this prayer venture in our day.
