Meditation : take time and consider all that happens here!
Imagine the events.
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What is your response to Him?

Pray to this God of ours in response
As you thank Him for His daily provision to you

O Living LORD,
I read these words.
Oh help me believe
And trust in You
More and more.
Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on those who are longing for a family re-union.
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from Genesis 42
Reflect on the events recorded here and pray in response to the Lord
Living Lord, o hear our evening prayers and receive our praise
As we thank you for the blessings of this day.

Consider Joseph’s journey in life to this point and his relationship with Pharaoh.
What does it say to you today?

Praying for those in leadership in our country.

The One who speaks to us by name
Thank you for what we read
For your written Word
For what you want to say to us

Open our ears
Open our minds.
