Reading : GENESIS chapter 34

Meditation : consider this part of the Bible this morning.
How would you describe this family’s relationships?

Then pray in response….to our God of mercy

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
May we be a people
Who ever seek justice
And who also show mercy
Even today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the land and people of Nigeria at this time.
O LORD, show mercy and hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to our Father God
LORD God, our God, hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed jars of clay.

God of Jacob and the God of today,

Pray in response – to our God of amazing blessings
As you wrestle in prayer with Him
And receive from Him a Peniel gift.
