Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Three in One
Reading : LUKE 12 verses 22-31
Meditation : consider all that is said here as your day starts.
Trust in God – Do not worry.
What is your response to Jesus’ words today?
Then turn to pray to God in response
O LORD our God, Father God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
Forgive me
Help us
Even today help me to put
Your Kingdom first in my living and thinking
In Jesus’ name, Amen
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the work of TEARFUND at work in Jordan at this time
O LORD, give blessing and hear our prayers we ask this day.
Evening
Reading : read this passage again from LUKE 12
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God
LORD God, our God, God of today and tomorrow
Hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from the worries of this world
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
