Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : JUDGES chapter 2 verse 6 – chapter 3 verse 6
Meditation : take the time to consider these words this morning.
What is God saying to you today?
What is your response to Him?

and Pray in response to this God of ours

O God of yesteryear,
God of today and of tomorrow,
Hear my morning prayer
And by Your Spirit’s help
Make me a person who stays true to You
And Your Kingdom purposes
Even today.
Amen we pray together this new day.

God of grace and mercy…and hope, hear our prayers.

Reflect on the words and events and then Pray in response
as Sunday approaches

As we trust You for all that lies ahead tomorrow.

Meditation : take time to consider these events this morning about the fall of Jericho.
What do they mean for you today?
Is there somewhere in your life you need to experience a victory?

Take time to Pray to the God of victory
For yourself
For another person/situation known to you
For our world at this time

O LORD God
I read
But
Help me believe
And trust in You for a victory.
Let Your mighty Holy Spirit work in and through me
As You are doing across the world.
Amen – we pray together.

Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Reflect on these words at the end of your day and pray in response
for others in need of knowing a victory at this time in life
Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers as we call out to You.

O LORD our God,

May my trust in You
