What is God saying to you today?

Pray in response to the words you have read

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I have read these words.
Here I am
Needing Your power and help.
Do a new thing in me I ask – even today.
In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…… seek…… knock……….hear!
Father, thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the verse again
Reflect on the truths behind the words….. and then pray in response
LORD God, our God,
Help me to surrender all to you and let your Spirit change me deeper and deeper.
In Jesus’ powerful name, Amen.

Reading : GALATIANS 5 verses 22 and 23
Meditation : take time and consider prayerfully these words.
What do they mean for you today?
Which fruit do you need to ask God to produce in your life at this time?

Pray in response to God, the Holy Spirit

Spirit of God,
Oh help me to be more like Jesus, the Servant King
In all my ways – even today.
Change me, fill me, from the inside out.
In His name I ask, Amen.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

God of grace and mercy…and hope, hear our prayers.

Evening
Reading : read these 2 verses again
Reflect on each fruit prayerfully……and then Pray in response to the Holy Spirit
Spirit of God, hear our evening prayers and change us, fill us afresh!

Reading : GALATIANS 5 verses 16-21
Meditation : take time and consider carefully these words about human sinful nature.

and then take time to pray in response to God – honestly, humbly
giving thanks for the Spirit – who changes us from the inside out

O LORD God,
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray for the Church in our land to know Sunday blessings
O LORD, our God, hear our cry!

Evening
Reading : read these 6 verses again
Reflect on their meaning for you and then Pray in response, as your day ends
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask.
Forgive us. Cleanse us. Renew us.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #help

As part of the follow-up to the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture last year around the world…and in preparation for May this year… we pause as God’s people this weekend and consider the theme again of #Help

Take a few minutes now – or when you are practically able this weekend – with God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and spend time in prayer with Him – bringing Him your prayers for help – for God’s purposes and Kingdom will to be accomplished.

For all the blessings
Of this past week.
Hear my prayers
for help.

And I ask you
to help…
and…
That we may
Experience your blessing
And know your Kingdom Come
Your will being done
In our lives.

Reading : GALATIANS 5 verses 2-15
Meditation : slowly consider these verses.
What is Paul concerned about?
What is God saying to you today?
What is your response to Him?

And then Pray in response to God

O God of these verses,
Hear my morning prayer
And by Your Spirit’s help
Make me a person who stays true to You
And Your Kingdom of Love
Even today.
Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Church in difficult places in our world
LORD, hear our prayers we ask and protect Your People we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these set verses again from chapter 5
Reflect on Paul’s words and then Pray in response
Including for others
LORD God, our God, hear our prayers at the end of this day
and bless those we name before you.

Is there somewhere you need to know freedom in your life at this time?

Take time to Pray to the God who sets free in Christ Jesus
For yourself
For another person/situation known to you
For our world at this time

O God of freedom,
Through Christ Jesus,
I read
But
Help me believe and receive freedom
Trusting in You and Your Word this morning.
Let Your Holy Spirit work in and through me
And in the lives of those I name before You.
Amen – we pray together in Jesus’ name.

Father God, hear our prayers and be with them we ask

Evening

Reflect on these words at the end of your day and how they apply to you
