Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : 2 CORINTHIANS 8 v 16 – ch.9 verse 5

Meditation : take time to consider this part of Paul’s letter – team work with Titus!
Which words stay with you? What is God saying to you today?

And then Pray in response to their God, our God

O God, my God,
Thank you for these words
And for those I serve alongside
And those who serve me
In Your Church.
Bless each and all
In Jesus’ name.
Amen we pray together.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

LORD our Father God, hear our midday prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from 2 Corinthians at the end of your day
Reflect on the words and then Pray in response – and for others

LORD God, our God, hear our prayers at the end of this day
And bless those we name before you

O God of truth,

Help me believe
And trust in You
With all my monies
In good times and in hard times.
May Your Holy Spirit work in and through me.
As You were doing in Paul’s day
As You are doing across the world.
In Jesus’ name.

Pray God’s blessing on Christians in Saudi Arabia
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening

Reflect on this God who was at work in Paul’s day and pray in response to Him
For others in financial need at this time – as well as yourself

Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers
As we bring ourselves to you.
