Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God

Reading : PSALM 18

Meditation :  take time to consider David’s words of testimony here.
What do these verses say to you?

Ponder again verse 29.

Then take time to Pray to this God, our God.
And ask Him to help you scale a particular wall today

In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on those feeling defeated in life

O LORD God, have mercy on those we name before you and hear our prayers this day.

Evening

Reading : read these verses again from Psalm 18

Reflect on the words and images …. and pray to the God who rescued David, our God.

Hear our evening prayers, O God.
In Jesus’ name,   Amen.

What is God saying to you today about Himself? What is your response to Him? 

Pray in response – using these verses in your morning prayer

O Living and True God,
O LORD, our Lord,
Hear our morning prayers and praises

In Jesus’ name,
Amen we say together.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask, seek, knock……hear

Father God…thank you.

Evening

Reflect on these words – and Pray in response

Words of worship and praise – for who God is
Words of trust and thanks – for what God has done today for you
Words of hope and longing – for what God will do in and through you – even tomorrow)

What is your response to Him?

Pray in response to this God……..‘The One enthroned in heaven’

LORD God,
Have mercy,
Show your power and astonish us even today
As you hear our morning prayers
