Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Saviour and Lord

Reading : LUKE 7 verses 1-17

Meditation : take time and consider what happens here in these verses.
Lives truly changed by God’s power through Jesus!
What is God saying to you today?

Then take time to Pray in response to this Jesus

Lord Jesus,
I read of changed lives!
I believe in your healing power
Help my unbelief….Even now
And use even me to reach out to others.

In Your name I ask, Amen.

Midday

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…Seek…Knock……Hear

Lord…thank you.

Evening

Reading : read these particular verses again from Luke 7

Reflect….on the events and then Pray….to this Christ Jesus

Amen we pray together at the end of this day.

Reading : LUKE 8 verses 26-39

Meditation : take time to consider these verses as your day starts.
What images or words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today?

Then Pray in response to this Jesus

Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of understanding and need
For yourself and for others) 

Amazing grace that saved a wretch like me!

Pray God’s blessings on the Church located across our city of Edinburgh

O Lord…have mercy on all we ask and build your Church!

Evening

Reading : read these verses again from Luke 8

Reflect on all that happens and then pray to God in response

Father God, hear my evening prayers
And continue to change my life.

Meditation :  take time to consider these words – and ALL that happens here!  What images do you have? What words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from this passage?

and then pray to this Jesus – for yourself and for others

O Lord Jesus,
As I read these words
I thank you for who you are
And I name before you
Those I ask you would touch and heal
For the Father’s glory.

O LORD, our God, hear our plea today.

Reading : read the verses again from Luke 8

Reflect on the words and events and then Pray in response to this Jesus

O Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for Sunday blessings
And name before you others known to us in need.

Meditation : take time this morning to consider this Psalm as your day starts.  What is God saying to you from this part of the Bible?
What is your response to His Word this morning?

And then take time to Pray in response to the LORD, our light and salvation

O LORD God,
Thank you
That you are there for me
To lead and save
And protect me.

I wait for you
And take heart from your strength
As I step into this day.
