Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus.

Reading : ACTS 14 verses 8-20

Meditation : take time to consider these events in Lystra and Derbe.
What images or words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word? 

Pray in response to Him… 

Father God,
Thank you for what we read
For the healing and salvation given
And the protection of your servants.
Hear our prayers
And use us this day we ask

In Jesus’ name – Amen.

Midday

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
(See Matthew 6 or online under the Prayer tab on LK website)

Father God of grace and mercy, hear our prayers.  

Evening

Reading : read these verses again

Reflect prayerfully on the words ….. and then Pray in response – for others

Spirit of the Living God, hear our evening prayers at the end of this day.

Show your power and astonish us even today
And hear our morning prayers as we name others before you.
