Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : 1 Peter 3 verses 8-22

Meditation :  take time and consider all these words from Peter in this part of his letter.    What was he saying to his readers?
What is God saying to you today? What is your response to Him?

and then pray honestly in response

O LORD God,
God of all truth and justice
Thank you for what we read.
And that You haven’t finished with me yet.
Help me to please You afresh this day
In thought and word and action – whatever the cost.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday

Pray for a church near your home to know Sunday blessings
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry!

Evening

Reading : read these verses again

Reflect on how they apply to your life and then Pray in response
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask.

Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : 1 Peter 2 verse 18 – ch.3 verse 7

Meditation : consider again what is said here
What words stay with you? What is God saying to you today?

And then Pray in response to live afresh to please God – even today

O God,
Hear my prayer
And help me I ask
To be more like Jesus
In every way – from the inside out.
Amen I pray together this new day.

Pray God’s blessing on the persecuted Church in Northern Cameroon
O LORD, bless them real good we ask!

Evening

Reading : read these verses again at the end of your day

Reflect on the truths given here…. and then Pray to this God
LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers.

Morning

Reading :   1 Peter 3 verses 1-7

Meditation : take time to consider these verses today.
What is God saying to you from them? 

And then Pray in response – including for a married couple known to you

Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on the persecuted Church in Eritrea
Father God, hear our prayers and protect them we ask 

We pray also for our country today – Father God grant wisdom, courage, justice and truth in these days of change and uncertainty, and above all Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done.    Amen.

Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response
Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers- in response to your Word and for our country in these days.

Who is this Jesus to you?
What is God saying to you today?

then pray in response on this particular day

And raise the name of Jesus higher than any other today.

Pray God’s blessing on the people of Sudan and the Church there
Lord, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Pray also for all on duty at polling stations today – even now.
Father God, show your mercy on all we ask.

Evening

Reading : read theses 3 verses again

Reflect on the words and on this Jesus….
and Pray in response to Him

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
And show your mercy in our nation.
May Your Spirit fall.
Amen we call out.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…..seek….knock…….hear.
