Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Saviour and Lord

Reading : 1 John 4 verses 7 and 8
Meditation : take time and consider what these two verses teach us about our God….
about Love…and what God is asking of us this day onwards.

Pray in response to this God
Father God
Thank you for being perfect in Love
And for loving even me!
Help me, oh help me, to be loving to others
In the way Jesus would.
In His name I ask, Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on Church cafes and all involved in running them in our country
O Lord, hear our prayers

Evening

Reading : read these 2 verses again

Reflect….on who God is and then Pray….to Him
O LORD God, hear my evening prayer.

Meditation : take time and consider all that these verses say.
What is God saying to you today? What do you need to consider in particular?

Pray honestly in response…for yourself and for others

Of understanding and need)

Reading : 1 John 3 verses 21-24
Meditation :  take time and consider all the truths found in these verses.
What encourages you? What challenges you? What needs your response?

and then pray honestly in response to live to please God – even today
O LORD God,
God of all truth and purity
Thank you for what I read
And that you are only a prayer away.
Thank you that You haven’t finished with me yet!
Help me to please You afresh this day.
In thought and word and action.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
