Reading : 2 Timothy 2 verses 14-26
Meditation :  take time to consider all that is taught here about living as a Christian

And then Pray to it into practice!
Lord Jesus
I read these words,
Teach me what they mean for me
And how I should then live for You
Even this day.
Amen I pray.

Midday

Pray for believers in Kenya facing persecution for their faith in Jesus
O LORD God, hear our cry, our prayers.

Evening

Reading : read verses 20+21 again

Reflect …. and pray to live in these truths in Christ Jesus
Amen and Amen we pray, O God, at the end of this day.

Pray for Mission Sunday at LK

Morning

Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : 2 Timothy 2 verses 1-13
Meditation :   consider what these words mean for you ….as a soldier of Christ Jesus

Pray in response to be ‘strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus’
O God of Timothy and of Paul,
Our God,
Help us to make these words we read
A living reality…day by day…today,
With the help of Your Holy Spirit within us.
Amen we say together.

Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

Reflect on these words again and Pray in response

Words of worship and praise – for who God is

Words of hope and longing – for what God will do in and through you – even tomorrow)

LORD, have mercy on us and hear our prayers.

LORD God of Paul and Timothy

And help me afresh to live my life for You

By the help of the Holy Spirit

God of mercy, hear our prayers!
