Pray to hear and receive from God, the Faithful One

Reading : 1 Timothy 5 verses 1-16
Meditation : take time and consider these great words of advice
What do they teach you?

Take time to pray in response
O Lord Jesus
Thank You for your living word
Thank You for your truth
Thank You for what You are saying to me this day.
Amen and Amen and Amen.

Midday

Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
Lord, thank You. 

Evening

Reading : read verses 1 and 2 again

Reflect at the end of your day and then pray in response….
Father God, hear our evening prayers.

Morning

Pray to hear and receive from God

Reading : 1 Timothy chapter 4
Meditation : consider Paul’s instructions to young Timothy in these verses

And then take time to pray, with thanksgiving, to their faithful God
O Lord Jesus, my Saviour and Lord,
Through whom I alone have peace with God,
Thank you for those who encourage me
And walk with me on this Pilgrimage.
Bless them real good this day I ask

Reading : 1 Timothy 1 verses 12-20
Meditation :  consider why Paul is so thankful!

Pray to God in response…giving thanks for faith seen in others
O God of saving faith
We praise You for You alone are our Saviour God.
And all over the world Your Spirit is moving!
Fill those I know with the life of Jesus, by Your Holy Spirit
I ask, only in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
