Meditation :  consider what happens here  –  then pray,
asking God to show you someone you can help today
Pray your own words to this Jesus
(Of worship – to the Servant King
Of willingness to serve another today
And to be more just like Him)

Pray, asking God if there is someone you could bring to a church service tomorrow

Meditation : consider all that happened here – to Mary, Martha, Jesus, his disciples
– and Lazarus!!!
– and then pray for understanding and to trust this Jesus more and more
O God of life and death
Of mountain top and dark valley,
We worship You this morning
For what we read, and Your power even over death in Christ Jesus.
Help us believe. Help us trust. Help us hope beyond the grave!

Pray to Him, for protection and good pasture even this day.
Faithful and loving and good Shepherd,
Thank you for these verses this morning.
Help me trust You afresh
Above my fears, my weaknesses and my enemies.
You are my strength, my Rock, my Saviour.
