asking God to show you someone you can help today
Pray your own words to this Jesus
(Of worship – to the Servant King
Of willingness to serve another today
And to be more just like Him)

Pray, asking God if there is someone you could bring to a church service tomorrow

Reflect on Jesus’ words…..then Pray to Him
Lord, hear my evening prayer.

Reading :  John 12 vs 1-19
Meditation :  consider Mary’s actions…but Judas’ words…
and then Pray to be more like her in loving Jesus sacrificially
LORD Jesus,

I believe
Help me understand
And do what pleases You

Midday
Pray for those in need of food, shelter, clothing, hope in our city
O LORD God, in Your mercy, hear our prayers!

Evening
Reading :  John 12 vs 7-8
Reflect on what these verses say to you and then Pray in response
O God of the poor and the poor in spirit, hear my prayer.

Morning
Reading :  John 11 vs 1-44
Meditation : consider all that happened here – to Mary, Martha, Jesus, his disciples
– and Lazarus!!!
– and then pray for understanding and to trust this Jesus more and more
O God of life and death
Of mountain top and dark valley,
We worship You this morning
For what we read, and Your power even over death in Christ Jesus.
Help us believe. Help us trust. Help us hope beyond the grave!
In Jesus’ name –  Amen.

Pray a blessing on someone you know in a place of grief and sorrow.

Reflect… and Pray in response to this Jesus
LORD, hear my prayer.

Meditation :   consider Jesus’ words…..is He your Good Shepherd?
Pray to Him, for protection and good pasture even this day.
Faithful and loving and good Shepherd,
Thank you for these verses this morning.
Help me trust You afresh
Above my fears, my weaknesses and my enemies.
You are my strength, my Rock, my Saviour.
Amen and Amen.

Reflect on how Jesus has been with you this day
and Pray in response to Him

Meditation :  take time and consider all that was said here, and by whom…
Pray to response to this God, not to be spiritually blind or short-sighted

Help me to see You
And to follow You
So much closer
