For our nation
For our world

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on Church leaders across the world at this time
God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.
Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JOHN 1 verses 43-51 – in another version?
Reflect prayerfully on what you read and then pray to our God in response
Eternal and Faithful One, hear my evening prayer
As I lay myself and this world before you at the end of today
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Sunday Evening Prayers with Others
As your Sunday closes you are invited to pause and pray with others in our Church Family as we journey through this Christmas week

Pause to Pray for Others
On this particular Sunday…as the nation and the world wrestles with new variant and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.
You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time
For family and friends and neighbours
For the Church in our city to be salt and light at this time
For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation
For our country and world leaders at this time

Thy Kingdom Come at Midday
As a Church we were part of the global prayer venture – Thy Kingdom Come.
This prayer continues around the world!

This week it is CELEBRATE – as we are encouraged to pause and bring our songs and prayers of celebration at this time of the year!
