Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus.
Reading : PSALM 5
Meditation : take time to consider these words this Saturday morning.
A Prayer for Protection.
What is God saying to you today from His Word about Himself?
Pray in response to this God of ours – the LORD
Looking again at verses 7 and 8 as you turn to prayer
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
Evening
Reading : read these verses again from PSALM 5
Reflect prayerfully on the words ….. and then Pray in response
Especially for others who are seeking God’s protection at this time
Spirit of the Living God, hear our evening prayers at the end of this day
And be with those we name before you.
In Jesus’ saving name, Amen.

What do they mean for you in your life at this time?
And then Pray in response – as God leads you
Pray with confidence to our God to give help to others known to us at this time
Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on the Palestinian Bible Society
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and bless this work real good we ask.
Evening
Reading : read this passage again from PSALM 4
Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response
Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers as we respond to these words
And bring a blessing to those in need of help this evening we ask.
Amen.

Pause to Pray for Others
On this first Thursday of the month…as the nation continues to journey forward out of Lockdown and wrestle with new cases and variants..along with other nations in our world…. you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.
You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world
For family and friends and neighbours
For children and young people across the world
For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation
For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making
