Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God

Meditation : take time to consider what these verses teach us
about Jonah’s relationship with God.
What are you challenged and encouraged by this morning?
Where is God sending you today?

Then take the time to Pray to this God, the God who sends

Here I am, Lord

Pray God’s blessing on our Care Team as they serve us and our community
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers this day.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JONAH 1
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to the LORD our God

Hear our evening prayers, O God, as this day ends.
We believe and trust in You and lay ourselves before You.
Forgive us where we did not want to go today
Send us boldly tomorrow!

On this Tuesday…as the nation continues to journey forward out of Lockdown and wrestle with new cases and variants..along with other nations in our world…. you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world

For family and friends and neighbours

For the supply of vaccines across the world

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making
