Daily Devotions for Sunday 4th April, 2021

EASTER SUNDAY!

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit, on this Sunday

Reading : EPHESIANS 6 verses 10-18

Meditation : take time to consider these verses today.
What is God saying to you today from his Word on this Easter Sunday?
What are you encouraged and challenged by?

Pray in response to what you have read and considered

In Jesus’ name
On this Easter Sunday
Today this is my prayer
For I believe and trust in Him
Amen.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read EPHESIANS 6.10-18 again as your Easter Sunday ends
Reflect on the truths beyond the words and then Pray to this God …our God
Including for others known to you in need of a victory at this time

O Father, Son and Holy Spirit, hear our evening prayers
As we praise You for who You are
As we return our thanks to you for the blessings of this Easter day.
As we name others in need before You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
