Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God
Reading : PSALM 60 verses 9-12
Meditation : consider this passage – Jonah’s prayer.
‘Give us aid against the enemy.’
‘With God we shall gain the victory.’
What is God saying to you from these words?
What is your response to Him today?
Take time to Pray in response to the LORD our God
With honest words
Give us the victory we ask
Even today
In Jesus’ Name
Amen.
Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you
Evening
Reading : read the short passage again from PSALM 60
Reflect on David’s words…. And then pray to our God in response
Father God, our gracious God, hear our evening prayers,
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
Give us victory we ask
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy!
I look to you for protection.
I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings
