Jesus said…….
The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : PSALM 119 verse 112
Meditation : take time to consider this verse on this Sunday.
What do the words mean for you today?

In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own Midday Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
Evening
Reading : read this verse again from Psalm 119
Reflect on the words written here and then Pray in response at the end of your day
O LORD, our God,
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you.
As we return our thanks to you
As we acknowledge You our Saviour and Help even this day.
As we pray for all corners of our world
To know of Jesus.
In His saving name, Amen.
You are invited to pause and pray at this time of the day as you journey into Sunday
You may wish to revisit the Daily Devotions for today
You may wish to be still with God
You are encouraged to name others before Father God
Together we say Amen.
At this time in your Saturday and in these changing times you are invited to pause and pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.
You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus
For family and friends
For your Church Family
For NHS and Care Home staff in our city
For our country and our national leaders at this time
As a Church we took part in the global prayer venture of Thy Kingdom Come earlier this year.
This ran during the 11 days between Ascension and Pentecost….many weeks and months ago now!
Each Saturday at 12 noon we are continuing to ask and seek and knock on Heaven’s door…..’Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done’…..and to pray for up to 5 people we know to meet with Jesus and to experience God’s Kingdom reign in their lives.
This week we focus on the theme of ADORE as we pause to pray with others.
We are invited to spend time with the LORD our God….bringing our prayers of praise and adoration to Him at this time. You may find it helpful to read Revelation 5 as you turn to Prayer.
O come let us adore Him
Christ the Lord!
Praise Him!
Praise Him!
Jesus
Our blessed Redeemer!
