As we journey through the week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS chapter 8 – as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Tuesday – to us and to others

Life in the Spirit.
The Future Glory!
What do the words mean for you in your life at this time?
What words stay with you as you step into today?

Take time to Pray in response to the LORD our God
Trusting in Him as you step into this day – with the hope of glory!

In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the passage again from ROMANS chapter 8
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to this God in response

Lord Jesus, Son of God, Light of the World,
Hear our evening prayers,
As we return our thanks to you for Romans 8 blessings
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
As we now rest in You this evening
Amen and Amen.

Lord, we thank You for our founder, Paul
We thank You for his wisdom and resolve
Help us to understand the intricacy
Of his message, and to follow You as a Christian Nation
Built from the ‘nations’.

Reading : read these verses again from ROMANS chapter 7
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response at the end of your day

O LORD, our God,
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you
For who you are
As we acknowledge You our Help even this day.
As we name others in need
As we pray for the Church in all corners of our world
To sing and speak of Jesus.

Union with Christ Jesus.
What encourages and challenges you today?
What is God saying to you from His Word?

And then Pray in response

LORD
I look up to you,
Up to heaven, where you rule.

Hear my morning prayer
Hear the morning prayers of your people

In Jesus’ name.
Amen

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
