but, You have overcome the world.
Keep us, therefore, in your grace as you have promised.

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into this particular weekend of Remembrance….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from JOHN 18 verses 15-27 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Afghanistan, Israel, Gaza and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Pause to Pray for Others

On this particular day in November…as the nation and the world remembers and still wrestles with new cases of the coronavirus and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For those grieving and mourning the loss of a loved one especially at this time of the year

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time of decision making as COP26 continues
