And then pray in response – to this God of ours

O LORD our God,
Hear our prayers,
In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the land and people of India at this time
LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these set verses again from 1 SAMUEL 2
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response – for yourself and
for others you have had contact with during this day

LORD God, Father God,
As we thank you for Hannah and her prayer life,
Hear our many different evening prayers.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bringing your request to Father God

Father God,
I have read these words
And now I pray for you to work them out
as a living reality in my life – even today.
Hear my requests
I believe
Help my unbelief
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
…..and respond to His voice….
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from 1 SAMUEL 1
Reflect prayerfully on these events…. And then pray as your day closes

LORD God, our great God,
For all of today
I thank You,
Even for those things that have caused me fear and concern.
Help me to rest in Your unfailing love and on Your faithful Word
As I wait for tomorrow.
As I look around at this world
In these days.
Have mercy O Lord!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray to see fruit of God at work

For I believe and trust in You

God of the journey,
You call us to follow you
Without fear of stumbling,
Your hand held out
To steady the weakest soul.

Grant us faith strong enough
To take you at your word
And, should we struggle,
To know you’re with us along the way.

Through Christ our Saviour
