For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : PSALM 18 verses 20-24
Meditation : take time to consider these verses this morning.
‘I have not turned away from my God.’
What do they mean for you in your life?
What is God saying to you today?
And then Pray in response to what you read – to this God of David’s.
Pray with honesty.
Pray for grace and forgiveness.
Pray to be led through this day.
In Jesus’ name
Amen
Midday
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Reflect on this God, your God, our God…. and then Pray to Him in your evening Prayer
LORD God, our God,
Hear our evening prayers
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who have sinned against us.
