Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : HEBREWS 12 verses 14-29
‘CHALLENGES and ENCOURAGES’
Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here.
Warning.
Refusing God.
A Kingdom that cannot be shaken.
What images or words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you?

And then Pray to this Kingdom God of ours in response
Pray with Hope.
Pray for 5 to meet with Jesus.
Pray for evidence of God’s Kingdom in our world.

And so we bring our sacrifice of praise to you, our God Most High.
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those struggling with God’s Kingdom ways
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from HEBREWS 12 verses 14-29
‘CHALLENGES and ENCOURAGES’
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to the LORD our King.
Pray with honest words.
Pray for 5 to meet with Jesus.
Pray for evidence of God’s Kingdom in our world.

God Loves.

God Saves.
What do these words mean for you?
Who will you tell?

And then pray in response – as your day starts
Pray with Thanksgiving.
Pray for 5 to meet with Jesus.
Pray for evidence of God’s Kingdom in our world.

Pray God’s blessing on those who feel unloved at this time
Father God, hear our prayers and draw near to them real good we ask

Reading : read these words again from JOHN 3 verse 16

Reflect on the truths behind these familiar words and pray in response to Father God

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all you have done for us
We believe
Help our unbelief

As we step into this weekend….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from REVELATION chapter 4 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Sudan, Yemen, Ukraine and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
