Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : HOSEA chapter 1
Meditation : take time to consider this passage and this family this morning
Hosea’s wife and children
Israel

What words stay with you?
Is there a family on you prayer list at this time?

Then take time to Pray in response to Father God
For your own family
For a family in need known to you

In Jesus’ name.
Amen and Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those on our Church Prayer List.
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy on each and all we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from HOSEA chapter 1
Reflect on who is mentioned here
And then pray in response to this God, our God

LORD God, Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day in leading us
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who have sinned against us even today
As we bring ourselves and our families to you at the end of this day.
Grant us all Your peace we ask
Amen.

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into the weekend….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from DANIEL chapter 6 – as we continue to pause in the Old Testament….

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

In the den of lions
The king’s joy!

Pray in response to this God – with your words of faith and trust
Giving thanks to the Living and True One
Naming others in a place of trial at this time

Father God, hear our prayers and bless them all real good we ask

Evening

Reflect on the words here and pray in response to our Great King

O LORD, hear our evening prayers

Help our unbelief
Strengthen those in a time of testing we ask

What words encourage and challenge you today?

And then Pray with honest words to this God of ours in response

Happy are those who have the God of Jacob to help them
and who depend on the LORD their God,
the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea,
and all that is in them.
He always keeps his promises;
He judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry

And so we ask, Holy Spirit,
Have mercy on those we name before you
Give hope and blessing we ask
Amen – we pray together.
