A Woman’s Faith.

What is God teaching/reminding you?

And then Pray with your own words to this God of ours in response
As you name others before Him

Pray God’s blessing on believers in Sudan
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from MARK chapter 7
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to this Jesus

Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD, my soul
I will praise him as long as I live;
I will sing to my God all my life.

Giving thanks for Jesus
Naming others in a place of learning to follow Jesus at this time

Pray God’s blessing on the few believers in Libya
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from MARK 3 verses 1-19
– in another version?
Reflect on the words and images here and pray in response to our Servant King

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all you have done for us
We believe
Help our unbelief
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Good Friday Evening Prayer with Others

As we pause on this significant Friday….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from MARK 15 verses 21-41– as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Turkey and Syria, Ukraine and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and give help we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from MARK 15
Reflect on the words and events that happened here
and pray in response to this Lord our Saviour God

LORD God, the God of the Cross,
Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
For sending Jesus
From heaven to earth
From the earth to the cross
As we bring ourselves and our world to you at the end of this day.
