Daily Devotions for Friday 30th September, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ROMANS 12 verses 16-21

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here about Christian living.
Live in Harmony.
Live at peace.
Do not take revenge
.
What images or words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you?

And then Pray with honest words to this God of ours in response
Naming others before Him
As the month ends

Happy are those who have the God of Jacob to help them
and who depend on the LORD their God,
the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea,
and all that is in them.
He always keeps his promises;
He judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry

And so we bring our morning sacrifice of prayer to you, our God Most High.
Have mercy
Give help
We ask in Jesus’ name
As we step into a new month with You
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the work of our Kirkgate Trust
Father God, hear our prayers and bless this work real good we ask

Evening

As we step into tomorrow – a new month

Amen – we pray together.

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into the weekend – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS chapter 12 verse 9– as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our nation and in our world at this time
