Daily Devotions for Sunday 26th September, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : HEBREWS 4 verse 14 – ch.5 verse 10

Meditation : take time and consider this passage this Sunday morning.
What do these truths mean in your life at this time?

And then pray in response to this God we believe and trust in
Pausing – Rejoicing – Asking – Yielding

Let us have confidence, then, and approach God’s throne, where there is grace.
There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.

What a Friend we have in Jesus!

Jesus, name above all names.

Amen and Amen we say together.

Midday

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening

Reading : read these particular verses again from HEBREWS 4 and 5
