Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : JOHN 14 verses 1-7

Meditation : take the time to consider these words from Jesus this morning.
What is He teaching/reminding you today?

And then take time to Pray in response to this One we believe and trust in

Thank you God for sending Jesus
Thank you Jesus that you came
O help us Holy Spirit
To be more like Jesus
And to follow Him more closely
Even today

Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

Be still and know

Be still my restless mind

Be still with God

Be still in this world

Be still in my life

Be still and trust God

What is God teaching/reminding you?

And then pray in response to what you have read
Making Mary’s words your own this morning as you rejoice in God’s loving-kindness to you

My heart praises the Lord;
my soul is glad because of God my Saviour,
for he has remembered me, his lowly servant!
From now on all people will call me blessed,
because of the great things the Mighty God has done for me.
His name is holy;
from one generation to another
he shows mercy to those who honour him.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on our Communications Group as they serve us
Father God…hear our prayers and bless them each and all we ask.

Reading : read this passage again from LUKE 1 verses 46-55
Reflect on this part of the Bible at the end of your day
and Pray with rejoicing in response to our God – for His good gifts to you

I will climb my watchtower
and wait to see what the LORD will tell me to say
and what answer he will give to my complaint.

And then take the time to Pray in response to what you have read
Pausing. Waiting. Hearing. Receiving.

O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.
