Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : JOHN 1 verses 29-34

Meditation : take the time to consider these words this special morning.
What are you encouraged and challenged by from God’s written Word?
Which words stay with you as your CHRISTday starts?

And then take time to Pray in response to this God

Giving thanks for Jesus!
Praying for others known to you to meet with JESUS today.

Amen we pray in praise together this special day.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read the set verses again from JOHN 1
Reflect on the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read

Thank you God for sending Jesus
Thank you Jesus that you came
Holy Spirit will you ever teach us more
About His lovely Name

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pause to Pray for Others

On this Christmas Eve…as the nation and the world wrestles with new cases and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For those travelling to be with loved ones

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time
