Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : JOHN 15 verses 5-8

Meditation : take time to consider this passage on this Sunday.
Bearing much fruit.
What words or images stay with you?
What is your response to Jesus’ words this morning?

And then pray in response to what you have read

To God be the glory!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Midday
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JOHN 15
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response at the end of your day

O LORD, our God.
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you.
As we return our thanks to you
As we acknowledge You our Saviour and Help even this day.
As we pray for all corners of our world
To know of Jesus
Even in these uncertain times.
Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #toJesus

As a Church family we have been revisiting the 11 themes of the Thy Kingdom Come Prayer venture each Saturday morning.

This venture runs for the 11 days leading up to Pentecost and this year will be 21-31 May.

This morning we are encouraged to pause and pray for 5 people we know – in our family, neighbourhood, work, social events – to meet with Jesus and to have Kingdom change in their lives…..even in these uncertain times.

Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
In their lives
We ask
In Jesus’ name
Amen.
