Reading: ROMANS 8 verse 28-30.

Meditation: as we pause with God today, we consider these truths…

What words or images stay with you?

What is God teaching/reminding you today?

Then Pray in response.

Lord, who loves me;.

Lord, who chose me;

Build Your Church in me.

Midday

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day

Ask, seek, knock….hear!

Father God…I’m listening. Amen.

Evening

Reading: ROMANS 8 verse 28-30.

Read these words again – reflect and then pray in response to God.

Lord, thank You for calling me.

Lord, thank You for saving me.

Lord, help us make Your glory seen through all I do.

Make Your Church strong Lord!

Spirit helps in our weakness.

Wordless groans.

And then pray in response.

Pray God’s blessing on Summer Buzz running this week.

God of love and blessing, sustain the leaders of Summer Buzz this week. Help them to encourage the young minds and hearts of the children.

Evening

Reading: read these verses again from ROMANS 8 verse 26-27.

Reflect and then pause to pray to this God in response.

Lord, we come to You this evening.

For some, our hearts break for those in need.

Although we may feel powerless and without words,

Thank You that You know how the will of the Father

and that through the Spirit, our prayers are taken directly to Him.

Freedom.

Glory.

And then we pray to this God in response.

Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer

Father, you have freed us.

Jesus, you have died for us.

Holy Spirit, you live in us.

Father, we offer ourselves to you.

Jesus, through You we die to sin.

Holy Spirit, thank you for life and peace.

Amen.

Reflect … and then Pray to God.

O LORD, our Great freedom,

We bring our evening prayers to You.

Your glory will shine,

Let it shine now,

In our hearts.

We name others in need,

Others that need the freedom You give.

Flesh verses Spirit.

And then pray to this God .

O LORD our God, as we come to You this morning,

We focus on the Spirit and not on the body.

Walk with us, each step of the day, to bring glory to you name.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Midday

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Your Name.

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

And forgive us our sins,

As we forgive those who sin against us.

Lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.

Now and for ever

Amen.

Evening

Abba, Father.

Thank You that we are chosen to inherit Your kingdom.

Bless our hardship, turning into Your glory.

The Spirit live in us.

Pray God’s blessing on our family members and friends.

Father God, hear our prayers and bless all who are in our hearts.

Evening

Reading: read these words again from ROMANS 8 verses 9-11.

Reflect and pray in response.

O LORD, thank You that death is not the end.

For Your Spirit, the resurrection power, will unite us with You in heaven.

For even though we currently exist in flesh, help us live by Your Spirit.

Reading: ROMANS 8 verses 5-8.

Meditation: as we pause with God this new day, we consider these words.

Focus on Jesus.

Set minds on the Spirit.

What is God teaching/reminding you?

What words stay with you?

And then pray your own words in response to this God.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on Cammy, Dougie and Gordon.

Father God…hear our prayers and bless each part of SEECOS leadership.

Evening

Reading: read the set verses again from ROMANS 8 verses 5-8.

Reflect on all that is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.

Lord, as we reflect on our day, help her anchor our thoughts on You.

Help us to turn our mind from the earthly focuses, back to You.

Give saving grace to those struggling with faith and doubt,

So they can bask in the light of Your glory.
