Meditation : take time and consider these two verses this morning.
What do they mean for you today?

God of compassion,
Have mercy we ask and hear our prayers
For others
For family
For neighbours and colleagues
For ourselves

Pray God’s blessing on the work of TEARFUND in our world
Father God…hear our prayers and bless each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these 2 verses again from John’s Gospel
Reflect on the verses and events at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – our God

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For those you have shown compassion to
Even today
