Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : JOHN 6 verses 43-51

Meditation : take time and consider what is said here – as your day starts.
How would you describe your relationship with Jesus at this time?
What is God’s Word saying to you today?

And then pray in response as your day starts

(Pray your own words to the LORD God
In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
And for others known to you at this time in a hard place.)

Pray God’s blessing on our organist, Calum Gubby
O LORD, hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask on him

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from John 6
Reflect on these words again at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God of ours

O LORD God, hear our evening prayers as we thank You for Your call on our lives.
Oh have mercy we ask
On others
On our Church
On our world
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
Even today
May your Holy Spirit
Lead and guide me
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Pray God’s blessing on those who attended Pram Praise today
O LORD, have mercy and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from John 6
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this Jesus

Lord Jesus, hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from this world
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
