You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus

For family and friends and neighbours

For all who feel lonely in our villages and towns and cities at this time

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making

Daily Devotions for Friday 5th March, 2021

World Day of Prayer

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God

Reading : MATTHEW 14 verses 22 and 23

Meditation : take time to carefully consider these 2 verses today.
Jesus chooses to pray.
How does this encourage or challenge you this morning?
What is your response to God’s Word as you step into today?

Take time out with God in Prayer in response – as God leads you
Asking Him to help you in your rhythm of prayer and devotion

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on TEARFUND at work in Nepal in these days
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from MATTHEW 14
Reflect ….and then pray….for others as well as yourself

O LORD God, hear our prayers at this evening hour
For we believe and trust in you, the Three in One
As we lay ourselves and others before You in Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Call to Thursday Evening Prayer
