Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into a new week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from JOSHUA 10 verses 1-15 – as we consider BEFORE THE GOOD NEWS – GOD’S PLAN BEGINS through 2024.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Monday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : JOSHUA chapter 10 verses 1-15
Meditation : take time to consider these words of Jesus as your day starts.

What words stay with you today?
Who is this God to you?
What battle are you facing at the moment?

Then Pause to Pray in response to this God we believe and trust in

Pray your own words at the start of this day

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on OPEN DOORS at work in Malaysia
God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JOSHUA chapter 10 verses 1-15 – in another version?
Reflect prayerfully on what you read and then pray to our God in response

Great and Mighty One,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
Hear my evening prayer
As I lay myself and this world before you at the end of today
Thanking you for help and victory given this day
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

O LORD, have mercy on this work and give help we ask
