A Call to Tuesday Midday Prayer
You are invited to pause and pray with others gathered in the Upper Room at this time of the day
Daily Devotions for Tuesday 3rd November, 2020
Upper Room day – time out with God
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God
Reading : PSALM 8 verse 1
Meditation : consider what is said here about the name of our God.
‘O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!’
What does this mean for you?
And then Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to pray with praise for who God is
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
Our LORD and God
Receive our sacrifice of praise
For who you are
And
For the majesty of your name
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.
Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
…..and respond to His voice….
Father God…thank you.
Evening
Reading : read the verse again from PSALM 8
Reflect prayerfully on these words…. And then pray as your day closes
LORD God, our great God,
For all of today
I thank You,
Even for those things that have caused me fear and concern.
Help me to trust in you
And know the majesty of your name
As I wait for tomorrow.
As I look around at this world
In these days.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
