Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus.

Reading : EXODUS 20 verse 13

Meditation : take time to consider this 1 verse.
Consider the truth here.
Consider what God’s Word says about human life. 

Pray in response…
Including for those in prisons who have committed a killing
And for those whose lives have been affected by a killing 

Father God,
Hear our prayers

In Jesus’ name – Amen.

Midday

Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

God of grace and mercy…and hope, hear our prayers.  

Evening

Reading : read this verse again

Reflect prayerfully on the words ….. and then Pray in response – for others

Spirit of the Living God, hear our evening prayers.

Reflect on its meaning for you and then pray…..for others known to you

LORD God

Pray God’s blessing on the suffering Church in Afghanistan.
O LORD God, have mercy and hear our prayers. 

Evening

Reading : read the verses again

Reflect on these words and then Pray in response as this particular day ends

Father God, hear my evening prayer
And lead me safely through tomorrow I ask.

Meditation :   take time to consider these verses afresh today.
What is God saying about Himself? about our worship of Him?
What is God saying to you today? What is your response to Him?

Pray in response – to put these words into practice

O Living and True God,
Our God,
Help us to make these words we read
A living reality…day by day…today,
With the help of Your Holy Spirit within us
For of ourselves we fail and fall.
Cleanse our lives of any idol
And be pleased with our morning worship
Unto You, O LORD God.
