Meditation : take time and consider these 3 particular verses.
What do they mean for you – today?

Pray in response to this God, the LORD God

LORD God,
I believe
In who You are.
Help my unbelief
And may Summer Buzz shine with Your Presence

Midday

Pray God’s blessings on those who work with Open Doors in difficult places in our world

O Lord, hear our prayers and show mercy.

Evening

Reading : read these 3 verses again

Reflect on this God and then Pray in worship and service to Him at the end of this month….Giving thanks for His amazing grace and gift of eternal salvation in and through Christ Jesus
And for His worldwide Church – even yours!

LORD God, our God, hear our prayers, as we return our thanks to You and trust You for all that is ahead in days to come.

Reading : EXODUS 20 verses 1-21

Meditation :  take time and carefully consider these familiar words.
What do they say to you today?
What is your response to God’s Word?

and then pray humbly in response

O LORD God,
As I read these words
By Your Spirit’s help
Make them true in my life.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Pray a blessing on the churches in our land in these days

O LORD, our God, hear our cry and show mercy!

Evening

Reading : read these verses again from Exodus 20

Reflect on the words and their significance for you and then Pray in response

O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank You for Your written Word.

Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : EXODUS chapter 19

Meditation : take time to consider this chapter as your day starts.
What is God saying to you from it?

Read verses 10 and 11 again

And then take time to meet with God in Prayer as your day starts

Pray God’s blessing on Alastair as he prepares the Daily Devotions.
LORD, lead and guide him and speak with us all we ask.

Evening

Reading : read the passage again

Reflect on vs 10-14 in particular and then Pray to this God

LORD God, our God, hear our prayers at the end of this day.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading :   EXODUS chapter 18

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here and what happens.
What is God saying to you from Jethro’s words?
Is there someone you can help with wise advice?

Pray to God in response, the God of perfect wisdom 

O God of truth,
I read
Help me believe
And trust in Your advice and guidance,
Letting Your Holy Spirit work in and through me.
As He is doing across the world.

Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on the work of Young Life in our community

Father God, have mercy and bless them real good we ask. 

Evening

Reading : read this chapter again

Reflect on this God who was at work in Moses’ day and then pray in response to Him – for your church leaders and the church worldwide

Lord Jesus, Head of the Church, hear our evening prayers.

Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : EXODUS 17 verses 8-16

Meditation :   take time and consider these events – a victory won!
Look again at verses 10-13.
What is God saying to you today?
Is there a specific victory to be won today – for you – for another?

then pray in response – with arms raised

(Pray your own words to the LORD God
In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
For a victory for yourself and for others.) 

O LORD, receive my morning praise and hear my prayer.
Oh grant a victory!
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Lord, hear our prayers we ask and bless her real good.

Evening

Reading : read verses 14 and 15 again

Reflect on these verses at the end of your day

and Pray in response to this God of victory
for His Church, for others in need known to you and for yourself
O LORD, hear our evening prayers
And thank You for today’s victories!
