Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : Isaiah 52 verse 13 – ch.53 verse 12

Meditation : take time to consider these verses again…and the One described.
What is God saying to you afresh today?              

and Pray in response to this God

O God of love and sacrifice,
Hear my morning prayer
Of wonder and praise
And by Your Spirit’s help
Make me more like this Jesus.
Amen we pray together.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on Church leaders in difficult places in our world
O LORD, hear our prayers we ask and bless them real good we ask.

Evening

Reading : read the passage again

Reflect on the One described here and then Pray to Him
LORD God, our God, hear our prayers at the end of this day.

Meditation : consider the words here as your day starts.
Compare verse 10 to verse 12 – what do you take from them?
How is the Suffering Servant rewarded?

Pray to this Servant King this morning! 

Praise my soul
The King of heaven!
Hallelujahs sing to Jesus!
Risen and anointed One!

Amen – we sing out together.

Pray God’s blessing on believers wrestling with an addiction
Father God, hear our prayers and rescue them we ask 

Evening

Reading : read these words again from the end of chapter 53

Reflect on this God who was at work through Jesus and pray in response to Him

O LORD God,
I am humbled and silenced
By what I read.
Thank you for the cross.
Thank you for a Saviour, Your own Son.
Forgive and cleanse me afresh
I must call out.
