Meditation : consider this one verse again
What does it mean to you to be merciful?

then pray in response….to be a person of mercy – even today

O LORD our God,
God of wondrous and tender mercy,
Thank you for these words
And all they teach me.
May my trust in You
Move me to reach out to someone else today.
Amen and amen!

Pray God’s blessing on those who need to be shown mercy – today
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Evening

Reading : read the words again from Jesus

Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response

What is your response to Him?

Pray in response to what you have considered

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…… seek…… knock……listen….hear!

Reflect…. and then Pray….to Jesus in response

What is God saying to you from it?

Pray humbly in response

Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of understanding and need
for others – for yourself)
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray God’s blessings on those who feel trampled upon in life
O Lord…have mercy we ask.

Evening

Reading : read these words again from Matthew 5

Reflect on their meaning for you at this time and then pray to God in response at the end of the day

Meditation :  take time and slowly consider these words again

and then pray to this God for those who grieve and mourn at this time
O LORD God,
God of comfort and hope,
Hear our prayers
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Pray for a church near your home to know Sunday blessings
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry!

Evening

Reading : read this one verse again

Reflect on how it applies to your life or someone you know…. and then Pray in response

O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask.

Morning

Meditation : consider again what is said here by Jesus
What is He saying to you today?

And then Pray in response to live afresh to please God – even today 

O God,
Hear my prayer
And help me I ask
To be more like Jesus
In every way.
Amen we pray together this new day.

Spirit of God,
Deepen my roots in Jesus
And build God’s Kingdom into all of my life
Strong and secure.
