Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : 1 John 5 verses 6-12
Meditation : take time and consider this part of the Bible.
Who is this Jesus we are to believe in? What is taught here about faith and eternal life?
What is God saying to you?

and Pray in response to what God is saying to you today
O Eternal God,
Hear my morning prayer
And by Your Spirit’s help
Make me a person of deeper faith I ask.
Amen we pray together this new day.

Pray for the Church in our land to know Sunday blessings tomorrow!
LORD, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening

Reading : read verse 12 again

Reflect on what God has done in your life and what He wants to do
and then Pray to Him in response
LORD God, our God, hear our prayers at the end of this day.

Meditation : take time and consider what is being said here in this part of the Bible.
What do they say to you? What challenges you? What encourages you?

Pray in response to believe and live and serve aright!
O God of truth,
As I read these words
Help me believe
And trust in You
And let Your Holy Spirit work in and through me.
As You are doing across the world.
Amen – we pray together.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of the day

Reflect on their meaning for you and pray in response to the Lord.

about Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
