and Pray not to displease the LORD
LORD God,
Help me to learn from David’s ways.
Strengthen me.
Help me to live to please You
And even this day use me.
In Jesus’ name I ask.

God of David and of Bathsheba
Forgive us our sins
Help us to be where and when You want us to be
And stop us being where You don’t want us to be.

Whatever is ahead
And all that I am expecting.
Stay with me I ask – even in the heat of battle.

Say nothing – take time to listen for God to speak with you
even for a few moments in the middle of the day.
