Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : 1 Peter 2 verses 23-25

Meditation :   take time and consider what is said here.
Who is this Jesus to you?
What is God saying to you today?

then pray in response on this particular day

(Pray your own words to the LORD God……..)
O LORD, hear our prayers
And raise the name of Jesus higher than any other today.

Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on the people of Sudan and the Church there
Lord, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Pray also for all on duty at polling stations today – even now.
Father God, show your mercy on all we ask.

Evening

Reading : read theses 3 verses again

Reflect on the words and on this Jesus….
and Pray in response to Him

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
And show your mercy in our nation.
May Your Spirit fall.
Amen we call out.

What was God saying through Peter and what is He saying to you today?

Pray to God in response, with thanksgiving

As I open my heart and mind to You this morning
Teach me more of Your truth
And how to live with integrity in these days.
