Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ROMANS 8 verses 7 and 8

Meditation : take time and consider what is said here – as your day starts.
Enemy of God.
Pleasing God.
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What is your response?

And then pray in response as your day starts
Asking for His help to please Him – even today

Pray your own words to the LORD God

O LORD our God
We pray in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on workshops run by Leprosy Mission in India
O LORD, hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask on this work

Evening
Reading : read the two set verses again from ROMANS 8
Reflect on these words again at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God of ours, humbly, honestly

O LORD God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank You for Your help in our lives.
O have mercy we ask
On others
On our Church
On our world
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Human nature. The Holy Spirit.
What is your response to God’s written Word today?

Then turn to pray to God in response
Asking His help to keep in step with the Spirit

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
Help me, O help me,
To keep in step with your Spirit this day
In my thoughts, words and actions
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the staff of the Leprosy Mission in India
O LORD, give blessing and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this verse again from ROMANS 8
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God,
God who deserves our thanks
Hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from ourselves
And from this world
