Thy Kingdom Come #Praise

As part of our rhythm of daily and weekly prayer and devotion as a Church, we are revisiting the 11 themes of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier this year on a Saturday morning.

We are invited today to pause and pray – with our sacrifice of PRAISE.

PRAISE God from whom all blessings fall!
PRAISE the name of Jesus!
PRAISE my soul the King of Heaven!

We are also encouraged to pray for up to 5 people – family, friend, neighbour, colleague – to meet with Jesus.

Daily Devotions for Saturday 7th September, 2019

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : PSALM 105

Meditation : take time to consider these verses written here.
A psalm of looking back and giving thanks by God’s people of old.
What do they mean for you?
Which words will you hold onto today?

And then Pray in response to what you read – giving thanks to this God.
Look again at verses 1-4 as you turn to pray…

In Jesus’ name
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those struggling in life at this time
God of grace and mercy hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this Psalm again
Reflect on this God, your God…. and then Praise Him in your evening Prayer
LORD God, our God, receive our praise
For who You are!
For all you have done for us!
And as we give it all back to you
May you continue to reach and save people
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done across our world
In our community, in our city.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
