Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God

Reading : EZEKIEL 21 verses 1-17

Meditation : take time to consider what these verses teach us today.
Babylon, God’s sword of Judgment
What are you challenged and encouraged by this morning?

Then take the time to Pray in response to this God, our God

In Jesus’ Name
Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the land and people of Sudan
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers this day.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from Ezekiel 21
Reflect on the words and images and peoples …. And then pray to the LORD our God
Hear our evening prayers, O God, as this day ends.
We believe and trust in You and lay ourselves before You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

False prophets are condemned.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask, seek, knock….hear!
Father God…thank you.

Reflect on the words written here…. and then Pray….to the LORD our God
God of truth and prophecy
We bring our evening worship to you
As we lay ourselves and our families before you
In Jesus’ name.

Rhythm of Prayer

As part of your summer rhythm of prayer and devotion you are invited to walk the Pathway of Peace around the Kirk courtyard….to slow down and take time out with God.

You are encouraged to visit the Daily Devotions in the magazine or online as we journey together in Christ through the year.

You are reminded of the opportunity to pause and pray with others at 10am on a Sunday morning, of the prayer ministry offered on a Sunday after the morning service of worship, and the Prayer Tree available in the Kirk.
