Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : LAMENTATIONS chapter 5

Meditation : take time and consider this prayer for mercy.
How would you describe the writer’s relationship with God?
Look again at verses 19-22 as you turn to prayer

Then pray in response – as your day starts
including for others known to you in need of God’s mercy

(Pray your own words to the LORD God.)

O LORD,
The God who restores,
Have mercy we ask and hear our prayers
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the leaders and government in Libya
Father God…hear our prayers and bless them each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again
Reflect on the verses at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – our God of mercy
O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
As we name others before you
As we trust you for tomorrow
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faithful and loving,
Good and Giver of salvation,
We believe and trust in you
Even for this day ahead

O LORD, hear our prayers and protect them real good we ask.

Evening

Reading : read the verses again from Lamentations 3
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response
Using verses 25 and 26 as part of your evening prayer
