Daily Devotions for 15th July, 2019

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Saviour and Lord

Reading : JEREMIAH 18 verses 1-17

Meditation : take time to consider these verses this morning.
At the Potter’s House.
What words or images stay with you?
What encourages or challenges you today?

Pray in response to what you have read – to our God, the Great Potter

Spirit of the Living God
Fall afresh on me
Break me
Melt me
Mould me
Fill me
Use me
Even today
In and through Christ Jesus
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the land and people of Libya
O LORD, hear our prayers and make them aware of you we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these words again about Jeremiah at the Potter’s House
Reflect on the words written here and then Pray in response
LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers,
As we lift up to you
Our circumstances
Today
Tomorrow
And others on a life journey
At this time
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #offer

As part of our rhythm of daily and weekly prayer and devotion as a Church, we are revisiting the themes of the recent Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture on a Saturday morning at 9.05am.

We are called today to pause and pray …offering ourselves to God
Our time and talents
Our monies and calendar
Our possessions

We are also encouraged today to pause and pray for the Kingdom of God to be evidenced anew in our day. We are invited to pray for up to 5 people – family, friend, neighbour, colleague – to meet with Jesus.
